Introduction

Reading 30 books in 30 days may sound like an impossible challenge. Many people might feel overwhelmed by the thought. However, with the right approach, it’s a powerful way to immerse yourself in new knowledge and fast-track personal growth. In this article, I’ll share my experiences of completing this challenge seven times, the purpose behind it, and some insights on how to tackle it strategically.

Whether you’re considering it to sharpen your skills, deepen expertise in a particular area, or add content to a project, reading 30 books in 30 days can be achievable and incredibly rewarding.

The Journey of 30 Books in 30 Days

My journey with this reading challenge started back in 2008. At first, it was just about seeing if I could do it — reading one book a day for a month. Over time the purpose behind the challenge evolved. Initially, it was simply a test of endurance, but later, I realized it could serve specific objectives. Recently, I embarked on the challenge to curate Bookish Notes for my membership site, the Art of Learning Leadership Academy, and that shift in purpose made a big difference.
