My name of the year for 2025 is Guided by Intuition. For a few years now, I’ve taken part in a 10-day Name Your Year Challenge led by Julie Foucht. For nine days, while in a meditative state, you talk to an aspect of yourself seeking guidance. Most of the days I kept on hearing to trust myself, to listen to my intuition.

Many things have happened in the past six months. I keep on getting accurate messages and yet the doubting Thomas part of me keeps on showing up. On the 10th day of the challenge, we are asked to review our notes to come up with our name of the year. Julie gives a complimentary session to go into our Akashic records to consult our guides. The name emerged from that session is Guided by Intuition.

A Personal Anecdote

I get messages in my dreams that are spot on about my health and wellbeing. In one instance, in a dream, I was told that I would get incredibly ill with a cold and who I had caught it from. I was instructed how to prevent myself from catching the cold. The information was accurate.

You may think that getting a cold is not a big deal. However, it is a big deal for someone with respiratory issues. I’m prone to getting bronchitis, and there have been three times when it turned into pneumonia and almost killed me.
